Breakfast Menu

Breakfast is served between 7.30 a.m.— 8.45 a.m.

Orange juice and warm home made brown rolls (wholemeal flour from Heatherslaw Mill) are on the table at arrival.

We have a starter menu which has a choice of cold cereals (meusli from Heatherslaw Mill), porridge, fruit yoghurt, fresh grapefruit and fresh fruit.

There is a choice of teas including decaffeinated and also herb and fruit infusions, plus coffee, including decaffeinated and Hot Chocolate.

Main Course

All our Sausages, Haggis Black, Pudding (all made on the premises) and  Bacon come from Skellys’ (butcher in Berwick) or Foremans’ (butcher in Norham).

The eggs are all free range and come from Sunnyhill farm (Detchant) or from  the local butchers.

In season the tomatoes come from our own greenhouse.  Local Smoked Kippers and Smoked Haddock are brought to us from  Eyemouth by Ross Dougal and Family.

Portions of Haggis, Black pudding and Beans are available as extras

 

Our vegetarian breakfast contains:

Eggs (fried, scrambled or poached), Linda McCartney vegetarian sausages,

Tomatoes, Mushrooms, Beans and toast, in any combination.
