LADYTHORNE HOUSE
|

|
Rob Val and Neville Parker welcome you to Ladythorne House. This grand old Georgian country house was built in 1721 and stands in magnificent countryside one ml. off the main A1, midway between Holy Island (Lindisfarne, 15 mins drive) and the old Market town of Berwick upon Tweed (10 mins drive), close to the Scottish Border. A friendly, family run Bed and Breakfast for over twenty years, we cater for all in a peaceful, tranquil setting within walking distance of a beach to rival Bamburgh (15 mins walk, 2 mins in car). We are Centrally Located, close to miles of sandy beaches, castles, historical and religious monuments, border towns and villages. There are golf courses (nearest 1ml), bird watching, fishing, pleasant walks, swimming pools and many other attractions close by our location. North of Berwick lie the small harbours of Eyemouth and Burnmouth with Coldingham and St. Abbs Head further up the coast. Edinburgh is just over an hours drive North, while up the Tweed valley lie the Border towns of Kelso and Coldstream. There are a wide variety of Inn’s and Restaurants within a short drive for evening meals. |
